HandyGeo is designed to display scalable seismic data images in high-resolution. Users can control display scales and display modes (wiggle traces, variable areas, densities and so on) anytime, anywhere. It is perfect for fast and high-quality remote QC seismic data processing steps and to detect subtle changes in data amplitudes. Example 1: Gulf Mexico Deepwater common-mid-point gathers. Deepwater data needs long offset cables, the window on top shows anisotropic normal-move-out velocities can effectively correct travel times for very large offsets, the window below shows conventional normal-move-out velocities cannot correct travel times for long offsets. Example 2 - Same data set, different display mode. By looking at different display modes for the same data set, we can see subtle variations in wavelets. HandyGeo is very useful for AVO analysis to see how amplitude varies with offset and for 4D data to detect very small changes due to pressure and porosity variations over a short period of time in the reservoir.
