HandyGeo is a convenient technical tool to be used in the field. Surveyors can use the GIS coordinate files from HandyGeo to check the surface locations of shots and receivers, they can also use it to transmit field data images from field to office for fast QC of recording quality and quick assessment of possible discovery. HandyGeo also lets users easily select the data range to display, field crews can use it to QC missing shots or channels. For example, use it to output each common-offset section and send the common-offset images to office for quick checking of first arrivals.
