The ONLY way to find the fossil reservoirs on Earth is from Seismic Data. HandyGeo™ is a powerful technical tool on Microsoft Windows for the Energy Industry. It encompasses the best technologies today to assist oil and gas exploration professionals to identify new reservoirs fast and accurate worldwide. HandyGeo™ makes the necessary tasks of locating the data locations on surface and evaluating the data images under the surface easy, convenient, efficient, flexible, and most of all economical. You can use HandyGeo™ on any PC or Laptop running Microsoft Windows. The recommended operating system is Windows XP Professional. Memory: The more memory the better, so get the highest amount you can get. But you should have at least 2 GB system memory. For graphic card: Get the graphic card with the highest memory or at least 128 MB. Graphic Resolution: Get the graphic card supporting the highest graphic resolution e.g. 1600x1200 or more. The minimum display resolution is 1024x768. For screen monitor: get the smallest screen (e.g. 9" or 11") that supports the highest resolution (e.g. 1600x1200, or 1920x1600). Avoid large screens, you can get small screens with high-resolution pixels, it is not true that the larger the screen dimension the more amount of screen pixels, also avoid screens that support only 1024x768 pixels. Hard Disk: You only need 6 MB for installation. If you want to print, you can use any Color Ink Jet printer or Laser printer. It is best to use a high-resolution (e.g. 2880 dpi) color ink jet printer, laser printer normally has low-resolution and is only ok for text not for graphic. Printer can be local, on the network or on the other side of the internet. Paper: Any paper with size and orientation supported by your printer. (e.g. 8 1/2 " x 11", 8 1/2" x 14", 11"x 17", 13" x 19", 17" x 22", etc...)
